Why is it that the things we cherish the most, are often broken and worn out, old and tired, scarred and dented? And how is it that we often are the cause of these thing’s destruction? Do we as humans feel a need to destroy? The answer, as hard as it may be to admit, is yes. Just to survive, we must destroy. Looking just to take and consume, We grind and cut the energy out of one organism, just to add its energy to ours so we can survive. It is painfully obvious, but quickly and easily forgotten, that whether plant or flesh, we must kill so that we can live. We also must destroy our enemies, no matter how weak or strong, to free the space and freedom to grow.
